Description

Hauntaur unlike others like it did not evolve from a gastly but gained form after Rydinara, a female Vulpix, allowed the sadness and dark seeded urges awakened by her family's death to take over her sanity. Some scientist theorize that it was the spiritual essense of a long dead Haunter several millenia ago. If this is true there is no real way to destroy Hauntaur by conventional means. Hauntaur takes a ghost like shape filled with aeononial gases (extremely corrosive gases) that destroy armor. This makes it hard for soldiers to attack him head on, and even starships have a difficult time defending themselves when he shows up. His immense size fits his incredible power, almost 344 meters long and 121 meters tall, he out classes most starships. Hauntaur tends to "haunt" the Byron sector of space. This is probably due to the high amounts of Chrolithium ore deposits that are on several of the colonized planets there. Because of this Hauntaur can be a very formidable opponent. However it is theorized that defeating Hauntaur only destroys the body which he transformed into that shape. No one really knows what Hauntaur looks like, only the shape he takes which looks like a Haunter. Hauntaur is concidered Alpha stage dangerous, and has killed well over 22 million in his 650 year existence. Several scientists have been working hard to conclude a viable way to destroy him once in for all but as long as he is using a victim there is no way to get to the actual spiritual essence.

Haunter is one of many problems the heroes of Pokemon 3900 face. Like an unnatural disaster he comes and goes leaving nothing but destruction and death in his wake.
